Wouldn’t It Be Nice Talking
to Someone Who Understands?
I get it!
I’ve been a dementia caregiver for years facing the struggles and emotional rollercoaster each dementia caregiver encounters. I’ve been in the place where I just wanted to scream and pull the sheet over my head and never come out. Believe me. I understand. And I survived!

My years as a dementia caregiver made me not only more knowledgeable and more compassionate but driven to help other caregivers.

Regardless of your unique situation, my training and experience will guide you in determining action plans and provide the emotional support that only dementia caregivers can share between each other. If you want to work with a personal coach to find solutions and ease your path, I’m here for you.

Professional AND Life Experience!

Beyond the personal life experience, I have professional training. I hold M.A. (Guidance and Counseling) and M.S. (Health Education) degrees; with a L.P.C. (Licensed Professional Counselor) license. Since retiring as a counselor and educator in hospitals and hospice, I have authored three books; and given multiple presentations and workshops on dementia.

How Does This Work?

We’ll start with a free 15 minute exploratory call via telephone or Zoom. When you schedule the call, and before we talk, I will ask you to complete an easy introduction form.

I will listen and learn about your role as a dementia caregiver. We explore how I can assist you. And together, we decide your next step.
  • Is it time for you to give up the overwhelming feelings of caregiving?
  • Are you prepared to learn techniques enhancing your relationship with your dementia patient?
  • Are you ready to find the balance between living your own life and caring for someone else?

Reflections from dementia caregivers on the service received:

“Jane helped me help my mom. Without her guidance I would have been mean to her…with Jane I was able to love her.”
–Lynne J. E., Texas
“I am so grateful for the support and counsel you gave me during the difficult times of caring for my husband with dementia.
You read "between  my words" and recognized my pain and confusion.  Your words encouraged me to be totally honest.  What a relief to feel the burden lift as you gave me solid advice with kindness and understanding.”
–Deanne B., Ajijic, Mexico
